    Hi, I have just moved to Wellington from the UK with my husband and 20 month old son. I would love to get to meet other mums and learn about things to do for families. We are based in Khandallah. Please can you let me know if there’s anything I can join in on. Many thanks, Tamara

      Apologies for not getting back to you sooner – we were having a few issues with the website. You are most welcome to join one of our Johnsonville discussion groups, if you are still interested. It is a good opportunity to meet other local Mums. We have an evening group starting in May, if that would suit you? If you are interested, can you please email mothersnetwork.wn@xtra.co.nz

      Hi Sarah

      Apologies for not getting back to you sooner – we were having a few issues with the website. To answer your question, women normally wait until after their babies are born to join a Mothers Network discussion group because alot of the discussions are based on how the Mums feel about motherhood. For example, we have discussions about the joys and hassles of motherhood, how we are coping with tiredness/sleep deprivation, how we can look after ourselves, changes in relationships pre and post birth, changes in body image etc. If you would like to register your interest in joining a group after your baby is born, please email mothersnetwork.wn@xtra.co.nz, and we will put you on a list for a future group.
